Magazine shoot

The June issue of Cincinnati Parent comes out this week with the little girl on the cover. These are the images from the photoshoot. This is the cover shot...

And these are some of the other images...

I'll also put them on Shutterfly in case (Mom) you want to have prints.

Nothing much going on...

So I know I haven't posted anything recently but nothing exciting has really been going on. We've been busy, but I couldn't tell you what we've doing. We have started potty training and it's actually going really well, although she'll only go on the potty at home for now. Hope everyone is well!

Who loves their babies?

Madeline has become quite the caretaker. Her babies have become like a security blanket lately going everywhere with us. She wants them to do everything she does. With a new crib set even puts them down for naps and feeds them when they "wake up". I'm hoping they will help with potty training here soon since she seems to enjoying pretending to change their diapers as well! That is one big girl accomplishment I am not looking forward to tackling!

A morning out with Mom

We had a great morning at Eden Park today. We first went to the Butterfly Show at the Conservatory. You enter a room of gardens with hundreds of butterflies. They land on you and you can hold and see them up close.

A lady actually stopped to tell me there was on in my hair.

Afterwards we went to feed the geese and ducks and they practically attacked us.

I could not resist taking a picture of this statue. I think it speaks for itself, but please tell me I'm not the only one disturbed by it!

Happy Birthday Madeline!

We had the best day on Saturday at Madeline's bday party. All the kids had a great time playing together and after lots of pre-party work it was all worth it. I just can't believe she is two years old!

Jon, Madeline, Christine, and Addy

Riding Oreo...isn't he so cute.

With her "oldest" friend, Lola (since they were 3 mths old!).

With cousins Harris and Ninah singing Happy Birthday.

Such a good day.

A hard day's work

Yesterday we got all our planting finished. It was a long, long day outside but luckily the rain held off and the weather wasn't too hot so it was the perfect day. Our yard looks great and I can't wait for everything to grow in.

Playing with the worms.

Our new deck boxes. I can't wait to enjoy these all summer! Hopefully my brown thumb can keep them alive.

Reds game

We had a great time this weekend with Jeremy and Renee and the game was fun for everyone for about an hour when I had to leave with a screaming and crying little girl. Can't wait to see you guys again in July!

If only she had more hair

Nothing exciting about these pictures, just thought they were cute. Madeline came home today with Ninah's headband and since she wants to be exactly like her big cousin she didn't put it down all night, proudly showing it off and smiling at how pretty she looked.

AJ Cohen Tournament

The tournament this weekend was a big success. It was exhausting but all the hard work we (mostly Jon) put into it really paid off. We raised a lot of money and hopefully had an impact on some families regarding the fire prevention program.

Madeline came with me on Friday night and loved watching the games. She loved cheering along with the crowd and all the noises of the game. Guess that bodes well with our plans to go to a Reds game this coming weekend with Jeremy and Renee.

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter today...although Mom I know you were sleeping all day. We were very busy. Madeline got a visit from the Easter Bunny which left her a basket stocked full of stickers, stamps, bubbles, chapstick (yes she loves chapstick), M&Ms, etc.

There is nothing like a mouthful of chocolate at 9am in the morning to start the day off right.

After a lazy afternoon around the house it was off to the Lipperts for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner.

With Holland, Tre and Lily...

Gotta love the bubbles...

Running around with Ninah...

I swear Jon and I were both in attendance although you'd never know it by pictures as I just realized tonight I don't have a single one either of us in the bunch.

Lastly, here's a great video of her with the ponies/horses. Hope everyone had a great holiday!
